Amazing place. Easy walk with stunning views and colors. Try to go when sun is high noon as it reflects of the Chasm walls. The drive in is challenging.

Awesome place. The Bungles are spectacular and worth the effort getting there. You have to walk into the Chasm to truly appreciate how magnificent it is. I first flew over it 30 years ago and now walking through it, was a dream come true. Make sure you go to the lookout before the entrance. Its a short 10 minute walk. The views of the Northern part of the Range are awesome. Close to sunset is the best, so after the walk, head to the sunset viewing area, 20 minutes towards the main entrance of the park.

Great walk to a surprising gorge that bears no resemblance to an echidna. Great photo opps. Easy walk.

Absolutely amazing! Make sure you clamber over the first big obstruction to not miss out on the second half of the chasm!

Easy 700m walk brings you into an amazing chasm or fault line within the northern Bungles that has interesting geology and an 11:15am light effect (reminiscent of Stanley Chasm near Alice Springs)

Wow! Very amazing to see the walls of this chasm glow bright orange. Try to get here just before midday (11am) to get the best light. Not too difficult of a walk either.

Found on the other side of the bungle bungles, you will see the stark contrast between the flora and geological make up of this area. Walking into the chasm requires sturdy shoes as you will be clambouring over loose rock. The chasm is truly magnificent. When you get to the end you turn around and go back the same way. Take a short walk up to the lookout point for views of the landscape.

This is such an excellent chasm and the best we have seen. We went around 12.30pm with the sun still shining in, this place would be beautiful all the time with the stunning colours it brings out. Just keep walking until the signs tell you to stop, it’s like a fun narrow one way maze sometimes! There are only a few sections where you may need to hop of some rocks but overall, it’s a easy to moderate rocky path. It is amazing!“Jonique Life”Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Definitely worth the extra drive. We did the lookout, Catherdal & Domes first. Make sure you walk right to the end past the fallen rocks. Go early to be ahead of the heat & check what time the sun shines into the chasm for a good photo. It was about 1100 for us so you need to be on the road early. Enjoy.
